Peterborough Mitsubishi is proud to be a pet-friendly dealership. We understand that your pets are part of your family and we encourage them to join you during your search for a new or used vehicle or to hang out during your service appointments.
Our love of all animals has made it a no-brainer decision to become a sponsor of The Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes. We hope that all the animals at The Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes can find their forever homes.
The Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes began rescuing pets in 1986 and was founded by a group of concerned citizens. After many generous donations and the purchase of their current location at 111 McLaughlin Road, the shelter was built and the Adoption Centre opened its doors in 1999.
The Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes aims to protect all animals, enforce protection laws and educate the public. Dreaming of a day that every animal has an amazing quality of life with caring, responsible and knowledgeable owners.

What a cute little fella! He came to us a terribly skinny stray so his history is unknown. He is a typical Frenchie...snorts...plays and is happy. He has not displayed any aggression towards dogs that we have introduced him to at the shelter.
Adopting this cute little boy, comes with a lot of time dedication and financial responsibility because of his breed and poor breeding. He will likely develop skin allergies, as he is already showing slight pink skin. Boi's skin and fur have improved greatly since arriving, he is on Royal Canin dry and is doing well.
We have also used a special shampoo to encourage new skin growth. He will need a "sanitary" trim every three weeks and a watchful eye needs to be kept to ensure his area is clean.
We are looking for a family that can provide Boi with his forever home, that will most likely include the typical Frenchie veterinary expenses. Ideally, the family would have Frenchie experience.
